What started out as an ambient track turned into so much more: a track created to honour a best friend and a grandmother who both passed within one week, as well as an outlet to come to terms with their loss. During the production Audiodact wanted to honour them and their lifelong support, and so he turned up the tempo and kept the break. Emotional as it is, A Quiet Happiness embodies the contrasting experience of life, with its moments of sadness and loss, as well the happy and upbeat times.
